SSL or TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Objection to Advertising Emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published in the context of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising being sent, for example through spam emails.

4. Data Collection on This Website

Cookies

Our website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. processing of the payment procedure). Other cookies can be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.

Cookies that are necessary for carrying out the electronic communication process, for providing certain functions you have requested, or for optimising the website (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.

This website uses exclusively technically necessary cookies (in particular in the context of the payment process via Paddle). No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

This data is not merged with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website — for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

Inquiries by Email

If you contact us by email, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular statutory retention periods — remain unaffected.

5. Payment Processing via Paddle (Merchant of Record)

Purchases on this website are processed via our reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd., Judd House, 18-29 Mora Street, London EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders and is therefore your contractual partner for the payment process and an independent controller for the payment data processed during checkout.

When you make a purchase, Paddle collects and processes in particular: name, email address, billing address, payment data (e.g. credit card details — these are processed exclusively by Paddle and its payment service providers and never reach us), IP address, and order information. We receive from Paddle the data necessary for providing the service (in particular email address and order status).

Processing is carried out for the fulfilment of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to fulfil legal obligations, in particular tax retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). The transfer to the United Kingdom is based on the EU Commission's adequacy decision for the United Kingdom.

7. Data Storage (Supabase)

For storing waitlist data and future customer data, we use Supabase (Supabase Inc.) as a processor. The data is stored in a data centre in the European Union (region eu-central-1, Frankfurt, Germany). Processing is based on a data processing agreement. Further information: https://supabase.com/privacy

8. Error Diagnostics (Sentry)

To ensure the technical stability of this website, we use Sentry (Functional Software Inc., USA). In the event of technical errors, error reports are transmitted which may contain technical details about the error, browser type, and operating system. We have configured Sentry so that no personal content (such as email addresses or form entries) is transmitted.

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information: https://sentry.io/privacy/

Processing for birth-time rectification

Purpose and data. When you purchase the rectification service, we process the data required to provide it: your date of birth, your place of birth (the place plus the coordinates and time zone derived from it), an approximate birth time if available, the dated life events you provide (e.g. relocations, marriages, births, career turning points, losses) and — where you share them of your own accord — health-related events (e.g. accidents, surgeries or significant changes in your physical condition). Health data are special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR. We additionally process the country of residence derived from your IP address (for tax handling via the Merchant of Record). We use this information solely to rectify your birth time and to produce the written interpretation.

Legal basis. Processing is carried out to perform the contract concluded with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Insofar as you share health-related events or other special categories of personal data, we process them solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you give before data collection begins in the chat and may withdraw at any time with effect for the future. Providing health-related data is voluntary; without it the rectification may be less precise, but it remains possible.

Astronomical computation (astro-engine). The purely astronomical computation is performed by our own open-source service "astro-engine" (AGPL-3.0), operated in the EU. Only the data needed for the computation (date, coordinates, time zone, event data) are processed; no transfer to third parties takes place.

AI-assisted interpretation and voice input (Anthropic, Google, Groq). To produce the written interpretation and accompanying follow-up questions we use AI services as processors: Anthropic PBC (USA) and Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). Only the condensed content needed for the interpretation is transmitted to these services. If you use the optional voice input, your audio recording is transmitted to our processor Groq, Inc. (USA) solely to be transcribed into text; we have enabled Groq's Zero-Data-Retention option so that your audio recording is not stored. Processing is based on data-processing agreements; transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where certified.

Deletion within 48 hours. Your rectification data (birth data, life events including any health information, chat history, case file and generated result) are permanently deleted no later than 48 hours after your result is delivered. Voice recordings are processed only transiently for transcription and are not stored. On request we also delete your data immediately; contact oleksii@soviya.ai. Excepted from deletion are legally required retentions (e.g. tax records of the payment kept by Paddle as Merchant of Record) and anonymized, non-identifying technical billing data.
